Do your teens know what they want to be …
By Mother | July 12, 2006
when they grow up?
I often talk to my teens to see if their plans have changed about what they wish to be when they grow up. My daughter is still adamant about becoming a chef. She has been saying this for 2 years now so I think she is pretty serious. She loves to bake and prepare food, but, I have to get her to like “cleaning up”. That’ll take a lot of work.
My teen boy is leaning towards becoming an architecht or engineer but sometimes, he talks about becoming a music instructor. I dunno - he is still a bit fickle. So moms of teens - how about your teens? Do they know what they want to be when they grow up?

Does your Daughter watch Hells Kitchen?
My son doesn’t know what he wants to be so I tell him what he should do-LOL!! He’s a artist and can draw free hand anything! He has his own drawn Race cars on his walls kindof like the Fast and The Furious movie. So I think he should be one of the people who airbrush designs on cars and RV’s
thats just my opinion, or start a t-shirt biz.

Isreal (my 15yo) wants to be a Chemical Researcher and has stated this for the past 2 years. Shayna (my 18yo) is in College now and wants to be an accountant but it changes from Accounting to a teacher each semister.

My daughter wants to work in Physical Therapy Field for the handicap. And my son wants to be a musician. Both have different talents in different things…so I encourage them to do what is their dream and what they want to do the rest of their life. Although, it could change about ten times before college actually happens. LOL Hugs from NM!
Sincerely,
