Do your teens still go trick or treating?

By Mother | October 24, 2006

Well - my teens are still looking forward to trick or treating this Halloween. Last year they still went with their younger brother and dad around the neighborhood to trick or treat while I stayed at home handing out candy. My 15 year old daughter is actually still into dressing up and being is a fun costume … 2 years ago we spent Halloween in Hawaii and she was dressed as a 20’s flapper girl … last year, she wore the same costume as no one saw it here anyway (as were in Hawaii the previous year). This year, she is just dressing up as a catholic school girl. My 14 year old son did the same thing - he just wears masks during Halloween - he wore the same mask 2 years in a row. I am not sure what he will dress up as this year. They both still look forward to this years trick or treating.

My daughter will be inviting a couple of her girl friends over though so they can all walk together and trick or treat together - of course they will be walking with my 2 boys ( 14 y.o. and 8 y.o. ) and my husband too.

How about your teens? Will they still be dressing up for Halloween this year - going trick or treating or just hanging out at home handing out candy?
