Do your teens save up for Christmas Shopping?
By Mother | December 14, 2006
My teens usually receive a coin bank every Christmas from Grandma. They usually save their change in the coin bank and closer to Christmas, they open the coin bank and count the money they have saved over the months. They then divide that amount into 2 equal amount - half gets deposited to their bank and the other half they use to shop for Christmas gifts. A couple of days ago, my son, Niko - opened his coin bank and started to count and realized he didn’t save as much this year. I guess since he is in highschool already, he tends to spend most of his money before he remembersto put it in the coin bank. Below is a picture of him counting his change.
