Need help with diciplining your teen?

Hi,

If I had a penny for each time a parent contacted me for advice on how to properly dicipline their teen, I’d be one rich lady (smile).

Well here are a few dicipline tactics that you can set into place now. The key thing is consistancy! If you are not consistant with your dicipline, you are showing your teen that you are not being serious about he rules and the punishments.

Don’t let down your guard - discipline is just as important for teens as it is for younger children. Just like the 6-year-old who needs you to set a bedtime and stick to it, your teen needs to know boundaries, too.

Learning to drive is a major rite of passage for teens (and their parents). It’s a time of exciting possibilities and achievements. It’s also a time of worry for many parents.

Driving is fatal for almost 50,000 Americans every year. People between 15 and 24 years old (especially males) have the highest rate of auto-related deaths, even though people in this age group may be smart, skilled, and have great reflexes. A collision is the most likely tragedy to kill or injure a teenager.
